VITAGEN-Inspired Munchies.

Chicken Chop in Fruity Sauce

Ingredients:

Chicken breast 2
Salt 1 tsp
Freshly ground black pepper Sprinkle
Dry breadcrumbs Sprinkle
Egg, lightly beaten 1

Fruity sauce:

Orange, diced 1
Tomato, diced 1
Ripe mango, diced 1
Mint leaves Sprinkle
VITAGEN orange 1 bottle
Lime juice 1 tbsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper Sprinkle

Instructions:

  1. Put together all the cut fruits and chill them in the refrigerator.
  2. Rub salt and pepper all over chicken breast. Heat 5 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan.
  3. Coat chicken breast in egg and then gently coat it with breadcrumbs. Then fry in medium fire for around 5 minutes on each side until cooked.
  4. Just before serving, mix together VITAGEN, lime juice, olive oil and toss it in with the chilled fruits. Add in mint leaves, salt and pepper to taste and serve with the fried chicken.

Pan-Fried Fish Fillet with Tomato Apple Salsa

Ingredients:

Fish fillet 2
Salt 1/2

Seasoning:

VITAGEN Less Sugar Apple 2 bottles
Tabasco 1 tbsp
Salt Sprinkle
Freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 tbsp
Freshly ground black pepper Sprinkle

Salsa:

Large tomato, diced 1
Red apple, diced 1
Green apple, diced 1
Small onion, chopped finely 1

Instructions:

  1. First, prepare the salsa. Combine the cut apples, tomato and onion together. Add in the seasoning and leave it to chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil and pan fry fish till golden brown.
  3. Serve fish with salsa and a dash of paprika.

Fresh Fruit Trifle

Ingredients:

Italian finger biscuits 10
VITAGEN Less Sugar, any flavour 5 bottles
Papaya, diced 1
Kiwifruit, diced 1
Strawberries, cut into quarters 4

Custard:

Milk 250ml
Custard powder 1 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1 tbsp

Jelly:

Jelly 1 box

Instructions:

  1. Line 5 shallow bowls with 2 finger biscuits. Pour a bottle of VITAGEN Less Sugar over the finger biscuits.
  2. Spread some fruits, jelly and custard over it. Chill trifle in the refrigerator before serving.

Assorted VITAGEN Lollies

Ingredients:

VITAGEN Less Sugar, any flavour 10 bottles
Chocolate, cut into cubes 100g
MARIGOLD HL Milk 50ml

Instructions:

  1. Pour VITAGEN Less Sugar into lolly holders. Put it to set in the freezer overnight.
  2. Put chocolate and MARIGOLD HL Milk into a bowl, and microwave on high setting for 20 seconds. Stir mixture until smooth.
  3. Dip frozen ice lollies into the cooled chocolate mixture.

VITAGEN Less Sugar LB Original Banana Mint Shake

Ingredients:

VITAGEN Less Sugar LB 2 bottles
Ripe banana 1
Mint leaf 5g
Ice cubes 1/4 cup

Instructions:

  1. Put all ingredients in blender and blend till smooth.
  2. Serve chilled.

VITAGEN Collagen Less Sugar Elderflower Blend with Lychee and Raspberry

Ingredients:

VITAGEN Collagen Less Sugar Elderflower 1 bottle
Lychee, from can 2
Raspberry 4
Ice cubes, optional Some

Instructions:

  1. Blend VITAGEN Collagen Less Sugar Elderflower with lychee & raspberry in blender and pour into glass with ice cubes.
  2. Serve chilled.

VITAGEN Less Sugar Ice Pop

Grape Blueberry:

VITAGEN Less Sugar Grape 2 bottles
Honey 1 tbsp
Blueberry 1/2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Mix VITAGEN Less Sugar Grape and honey together, stir well and pour in ice pop mould.
  2. Add blueberries and freeze until solid, about 3 – 4 hours.

Apple Mint:

VITAGEN Less Sugar Apple 2 bottles
Mint leaf 5g

Instructions:

  1. Mix ingredients in blender. Blend until fine and pour in ice pop mould and freeze until solid, about 3 – 4 hours.

Peach Strawberry Blend:

VITAGEN Less Sugar Peach 2 bottles
Strawberry 4
Honey 1 tbsp

Instructions:

  1. Mix ingredients in blender & blend until fine and pour in ice pop mould and freeze until solid, about 3 – 4 hours.

LB Original Mango Lassi:

VITAGEN Less Sugar LB 2 bottles
Mango flesh, ripe 1/2 cup
Salt Sprinkle

Instructions:

  1. Mix ingredients in blender & blend until fine and pour in ice pop mould and freeze until solid, about 3 – 4 hours.

Green Tea Jelly with VITAGEN Less Sugar LB Original Granita & Mixed Berries

Ingredients:

VITAGEN Less Sugar LB 4 bottles
Gelatine powder 10g
Green tea powder 1 tbsp
Sugar 200g
Water 1
Mixed berries 200g
Lemon zest 1

Instructions:

  1. Freeze VITAGEN Less Sugar LB Original in container until frozen.
  2. Mix gelatine powder, green tea powder & sugar together then pour into water, stir well.
  3. Boil about 5 minutes and pour into mould or cup, then place in the refrigerator until set.
  4. To serve, fluff the frozen VITAGEN Less Sugar LB Original by grating with a fork. Top green tea jelly with granita, mixed berries & lemon zest.

Baked Yoghurt Chicken

Ingredients:

2 Chicken breast
4tbs 140g MARIGOLD Low Fat Natural Yoghurt
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper, crushed
1/2 tsp Five spice powder

Instructions:

  1. Marinate all the ingredients together.
  2. Place it in the fridge for 3 – 4 hours.
  3. Place the chicken in the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes @ 160 – 170°C.
  4. Garnish with vegetables.
  5. Ready to serve.
